We started with a DREAM which turned into an IDEA and then this INITIATIVE started to grow ...
December 2007 at the Christmass drink in Amsterdam. A drink I will not forget! At the drink I found 3 women crazy enough to join me! and there we decided to really go for this challenge and to create something beautiful together! The next day... we were even more enthousiastic and put an announcement on the Heiportal to look for more active Heineken collegues to help us and to join us in this challenge.
An intiative of a small group of Heineken employees, to let this grow into a CHALLENGE of climbing the highest mountain of Congo, to raise money for a charity cause and connect via this project with collegues.
We are now with 6 Expedition members and 4 Basecamp members that put their free time and money into this project. We receive a lot of voluntary support from various departments and persons within Heineken to pull this off. En Classe will be the project we will donate all the money we can collect.
